Michel Charron is a Senior Investment Consultant at the Montreal office of PBI Actuarial Consultants. He has over 25 years of experience and has been working in investment consulting with the PBI-Montreal team since 2009. Michel works closely with religious communities, foundations and pension plans and is involved in all aspects related to investment consulting at PBI, particularly in analyzing and measuring managers’ performance. He also participates in compliance monitoring, in the development and revision of investment policies, in asset allocation, in manager searches, in the development and implementation of management structures and in the application of the principles for responsible investing.

Michel holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com.) degree from McGill University with a major in Finance and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder (CFA). He has also completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIF). He has been involved with CFA Montreal’s programming and events committee since 2017 and with CFA Montreal's ESG committee since 2019. He is currently a Director on the Board of the association.
