Mr. Vanlian is a partner with over 25 years of experience in Deloitte’s audit public practice serving clients mainly in the asset management and wealth management space. He has held various leadership roles within the firm, notably as the leader of the public audit practice for the province of Québec and Ottawa and has been Deloitte’s leader of the financial services industry group in both Québec and the Prairies. Mr.Vanlian has served either as Lead Client Service Partner or Lead Audit Partner on some of the firm’s most prestigious clients throughout Canada and, over the years, has had significant interaction with senior management, audit committees and Board of Directors in a number of audit or advisory settings. He also has lead Deloitte’s director initiatives through his involvement with Deloitte’s Directors’ Series platform and involvement with the Institute of Corporate Directors in Manitoba. Haig is based in Montreal and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) by designation.
