
Lise Estelle Brault, CFA
Lise Estelle Brault is Senior Director Fintech, Innovation and Derivatives at the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF). She oversees the AMF’s fintech and innovation initiatives, aiming at developing the internal expertise with regards to emerging technologies and business models in finance as well as making the AMF a key member of the local fintech ecosystem. She chairs the Regulatory Sandbox Committee of the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA), a committee working to support fintech businesses seeking to offer innovative products, services and applications in Canada. Lise Estelle is also responsible for developing and implementing data governance at the AMF. She manages a team responsible for creating and maintaining a data culture within the organization.
Lise Estelle holds a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she studied finance and economics. She also has a bachelor joint honors in mathematics and economics from the University of Montreal. In 2017, she won the Rising Star prize offered by the Association des femmes en finance du Québec.
