CFA MONTRÉAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: EMPOWERING EXCELLENCE!

During Discovery Day - Careers in Finance, which took place on March 20, CFA Montréal awarded the 2024 scholarships to finance students.

Studying the applications received offers a fantastic perspective on the next generation. The level of achievement and commitment in the industry of these young people is truly impressive! The recipients greatly deserved this mark of appreciation and encouragement, which should help them continue their journey in the CFA program.

It is no coincidence that there are 4 women among the winners, as one of the objectives of the CFA Montréal and its partners’ scholarship program is to increase the representation of women who hold the CFA designation.

Thanks to the support of CDPQ, which was represented by Lédéenne Chapleau, CFA, Senior Analyst, External Management at CDPQ, and the generosity of Adriana Arrillaga, CFA, we have taken a further step towards a more inclusive industry by awarding five scholarships worth a total of $13,000 to: Shaghayegh Bagheri (Concordia University), Marie Boutet (HEC Montréal), Charles-Antoine Germain (Concordia University), Finan Ghebre (Concordia University - Goodman Institute of Investment Management) and Xu-Li Tang, (HEC Montréal).
