Julie Ducharme, CFA, is Vice President and portfolio manager within the institutional team of RBC Global Asset Management in Montreal (PH&N). Prior to joining the bank in April 2020, Julie spent over eight years on BlackRock’s Canadian institutional team of where she had multiple client-facing responsibilities, including most recently, the role of Active Equity Product Strategist. Prior to her role in Active Equities, Julie was the Canadian head of BlackRock's Global Consultant Relations Group where she was responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with investment consultants and institutional investors.

Before joining BlackRock in 2011, she was a principal for Mercer Investment Management where she was responsible for delivering investment solutions and reporting on Mercer's investment strategies to clients. Prior to joining Mercer Investment Management in 2008, she was a senior manager researcher at Mercer where she rated investment managers across all major types of asset classes focusing on global strategies in currency, tactical asset allocation, and fixed income.

Ms. Ducharme earned a BA degree in Mathematics from Concordia University in 1998.
