
Denise Nimara
Denise is responsible for member and candidate services at CFA Montréal, where she coordinates the development and implementation of programs aimed at both groups.
She oversees the various initiatives carried out by the University Relations Committee, the Programming and Events Committee, and the Mentoring Committee, taking care to optimize the member experience and improve processes on an ongoing basis. Her duties also include planning the annual professional development calendar, networking events and special initiatives such as the Research Challenge.
As part of her role, Denise assists the Executive Director, the Board of Directors and the various board committees in achieving the Society’s strategic objectives.
Denise has more 10 years of administrative, secretarial and customer service experience working in the public sector and education fields. She is highly organized and creative, with a keen sense of initiative and a make-it-happen mindset. She sees every task as an opportunity to improve how things are done and to optimize the practices involved.
She earned a certificate in cyber investigation from Polytechnique Montréal. Denise is known and respected for her skills in project management, event planning, and website and social media management, all of which have been part of her multifaceted career trajectory.
