Call for candidacies for the Board of Directors 2024-2025
CFA Montréal is currently conducting a call for candidacies to fill two (2) positions on the Board of Directors which will become vacant at the upcoming General Annual Meeting. You are interested in serving on the Board of Directors? Here is what you should know:
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT YOUR CANDIDACY
- Friday, September 6th, 2024 before noon.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Be a CFA Charterholder and be a member of CFA Montréal in good standing;
- Have a minimum of 70 hours per year to devote to Board activities (6 meetings / year) and related Strategic committees (± 1 to 2 meetings / month);
- Possess excellent French and English communication skills;
- Be available to attend the association’s events and contribute to its outreach within the Montreal Financial Ecosystem.

SUBMITTING YOUR CANDIDACY

- Attach a copy of your resume to the application form which can be accessed by clicking HERE;
- Candidacies will be assessed by the Nominating Committee composed of our current president Sandy Poiré, CFA; our honorary president, Carl Robert, CFA and our vice-president and chair of the Governance Committee, Haig Vanlian, CFA;
- Following their evaluation, the Nominating Committee will submit a recommendation report to the Board of Directors for approval. The final vote will be held during the Annual General Meeting set forth on October 25th, 2024.
