Develop and use Python scripts that can be used in a financial context.

Taught in an interactive virtual classroom, this course is designed for professionals who wish to acquire the needed skills to work with Python modules used in the financial industry.

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

• Identify the most used Python modules used in the financial industry
• Develop integration scripts in Python
• Access and visualize data with Python
• Apply financial analysis techniques using Python

Introduction to Python: Understanding the Language and the Core Concepts is a prerequisite to register.

The seven-hour introductory course will be taught in French online (via Zoom) by an instructor from the École de Technologie Supérieure. It will take place over two days, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on May 7 and 14, 2021 (3.5 hours each). The course will be divided evenly between interactive lectures and hands-on exercises.
