The Montreal CFA Society is a non-profit association founded in 1950 with multiple goals in mind such as:

To provide members with a forum to exchange ideas and to obtain valuable and timely information

To uphold CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct for industry members so as to maintain/impose the quality and public perception of the profession

To assist members in their efforts to pursue their educational development by:

  • organizing conferences with a high information/education content, whether of a practical or theoretical nature,
  • offering comprehensive preparation courses for CFA exams, and
  • encouraging participation in CFA Institute professionaldevelopment programs for existing members with the CFA designation

To promote, when and however possible, the international scope of Montreal’s financial community

To increase awareness regarding both investment career opportunities and the CFA program to other organizations, university students, and the public at large

Be a Part of History

CFA Institute is collecting CFA exam stories from its members for possible inclusion in an upcoming book on the first 50 years of the CFA Program. We know the exam program runs like a well-oiled machine, but sometimes memorable things happen during exam administration.

Have you ever had something interesting or unusual happen during one of your tests? If so, please e-mail wendi.ruschmann@cfainstitute.org or send your story to:
