The Montreal CFA Society is a non-profit association founded in 1950 with multiple goals in mind such as:
To provide members with a forum to exchange ideas and to obtain valuable and timely information
To uphold CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct for industry members so as to maintain/impose the quality and public perception of the profession To assist members in their efforts to pursue their educational development by: - organizing conferences with a high information/education content, whether of a practical or theoretical nature,
- offering comprehensive preparation courses for CFA exams, and
- encouraging participation in CFA Institute professionaldevelopment programs for existing members with the CFA designation
To promote, when and however possible, the international scope of Montreal’s financial community To increase awareness regarding both investment career opportunities and the CFA program to other organizations, university students, and the public at large

We know the exam program runs like a well-oiled machine, but sometimes memorable things happen during exam administration.
